How do I check a message?
Tap 📷 Snap a photo to take a picture of a letter, or to pick a screenshot of a text or email. Or tap ✍️ Paste a message and paste the words. Then tap Check it.
How do I check a voicemail?
Open the Phone app and tap Voicemail. Tap the message so the words show, then take a screenshot (side button + volume up). In Scam Detector, tap Snap a photo, then Pick a screenshot.
How many checks do I get?
3 free checks every day. Scam Detector Pro gives unlimited checks.
How do I cancel Scam Detector Pro?
On your iPhone: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Scam Detector Pro → Cancel Subscription.
I got a new phone
Open Scam Detector, tap ⭐ Get unlimited, then Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple ID.
I already sent money or gave my details
- Call your bank using the number on the back of your card.
